Ways to Get to St Pancras Station in London by Train

1. St. Pancras Station and King's Cross Station

In the 2000s, St Pancras Station was renovated, extended and renamed "St Pancras International Station". As the terminal station of Eurostar in the UK, the station has built a new secure sealed area for Eurostar trains to stop. The train departs from St. Pancras Station, passes through the No. 1 high-speed railway in southern England, passes through the English Channel Tunnel, and then reaches the European continent. City rail services to this station and neighboring King's Cross station are the London Underground's King's Cross St Pancras station.

London King's Cross Station and St. Pancras Station are not only important transportation hubs in London, but also the starting stations of the Eurostar and Hogwarts Express trains. They are pilgrimage sites that Harry Potter fans must not miss! There is a road between King's Cross Station and St. Pancras Station. Compared with King's Cross Station, St. Pancras Station's appearance is nearly twice as large. The exterior adopts Gothic architecture and is made of striking red bricks. This station is the location of the Hogwarts Express train station, and the Hogwarts Express platform nine and four quarters was filmed at King's Cross Station next door.

King's Cross Station is also an important station in London. There are 12 platforms in total. The appearance is made of stacked yellow bricks with a bit of history. Compared with St. Pancras Station, the square appearance is very restrained. How to get to Platform Nine and Three Quarters? Walk towards the Viking train platform at King's Cross and you'll see it next to the train service, next to the paid toilets at the station. There are endless streams of Harry Potter fans here every day to take pictures. You don't need to prepare props yourself. There will be staff on site to help you prepare them. There are scarves and wands representing each college. The service is super thoughtful. There's a Harry Potter store right next to it, and pretty much everyone walks in after their photoshoot on platform 9 3/4.

2. How to take the train from London Gatwick to London St. Pancras Station?

National Rail connects Gatwick Airport to London Victoria Station and St Pancras International Station to St Pancras International Station, the ticket price is 10 pounds per person, and the journey takes 1 hour and 06 minutes. There are discounts for these tickets when booked in advance. St. Pancras International Station and King's Cross Station are adjacent.

In fact, there are many ways to get to downtown London from London Gatwick Airport, but not at King's Cross Railway Station, there are buses to London Victoria Station, and there are also buses to Earls Court subway station. From these two places, there are subways to King's Cross Station!
