From London Paddington Station to St Pancras

Ⅰ. Attractions around St. Pancras

1. The British Museum

The British Museum is one of the largest and most famous museums in the world. The museum has a collection of more than 7 million cultural relics and treasures from all over the world. The number and types of collections are rich, which is rarely seen in museums all over the world.

Because of its huge collection, the British Museum can almost display the history of civilization in the entire world. Although there is space limitation, about 50,000 collections can still be exhibited in the museum at the same time each time. The main collections come from the Middle Ages, especially the collections of ancient Egypt and ancient Greece and Rome, as well as a large number of precious cultural relics from Asia, the Middle East, Africa and America. Cultural treasures from many parts of the world can only be seen here.

2. The London Eye

The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is located on the south bank of the River Thames and was built by the United Kingdom to celebrate the coming of the year 2000. This giant Ferris wheel is 135 meters high and you can sit on it overlooking London. If you choose to ride at dusk, the romantic Thames sunset will be unforgettable. The London Eye at night is even more dreamy. The illuminated Ferris wheel forms a huge blue halo, like bright eyes in the night sky; if you sit in it and overlook the night view of London, the beauty is shocking.

3. Kensington Gardens

Kensington Gardens used to be a royal garden and is now connected to Hyde Park and is open to the public. The park is elegant and beautiful, with large grasslands and many artistically trimmed trees. There are many benches for tourists to rest, and there is a large lake where waterfowl, pigeons and squirrels can be seen.

Ⅱ. How to travel from London Paddington Station to St. Pancras by car?

St. Pancras Railway Station, also known as St. Pancras International Railway Station, is a large railway station located in the St. Pancras area of London, the capital of the United Kingdom, between the British Library and King's Cross Station.

St Pancras Station is often referred to as the "Cathedral of the Railways" because of its two prominent Victorian buildings. The station's train rail was designed by William Henry Barlow, while its facade comes from the station's predecessor: the Midland Hotel, designed by George Gilbert Scott, both of which are also classic Victorian architectural styles. The railings of the train are designed with an iron frame grid, and half of the surface is covered with glass filling to increase the sense of magnificence.

The London Tube runs every 10 minutes from Paddington to King's Cross St Pancras station. Entrance fee £2 - £3 Journey takes 10 minutes. Alternatively, London Buses operate buses from Paddington station Eastbourne Terrace to King's Cross.
