National Rail

National Rail is the consumer-facing brand of the Rail Delivery Group (RDG). The Railway Delivery Group provides info and train departure and arrival timetables for all train operating companies (TOCs) in the United Kingdom.

British Rail

British Railways was the state-owned company responsible for most overground rail transport in Britain from 1948 to 1997. Trading as British Rail from 1965, the company was privatised between 1994 and 1997 and was succeeded by National Rail.

London commuter services

The Elizabeth line is a new railway built by Crossrail Ltd. Opened on 24th May 2022, it stretches more than 100 km from Reading and Heathrow in West London through central tunnels across to Shenfield in Essex and Abbey Wood in South-East London.
The London Underground (also known simply as the Underground or by its nickname the Tube) is a rapid transit system serving Greater London and some parts of the adjacent counties of Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire in England. Opened on 10 January 1863, it is now part of the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines.
London Overground is the main suburban train network that connects Greater London with the city centre, with train terminals in Euston and Liverpool Street. The network runs a number of routes that can carry passengers throughout the capital, without going directly into the city.
